What it is
Signal Cache is a small personal tool for saving project notes before they disappear into commits, issue threads, or terminal scrollback. The main idea is simple: capture details while they are fresh, then promote only the durable ones into longer writeups.
Why it exists
Most side projects generate useful knowledge, but a lot of it gets lost because the rough material never becomes a post. This project exists to close that gap. It treats short notes as the raw material for future writing instead of as a separate archive.
Current focus
The current work is centered on three areas:
- fast local capture
- lightweight project tagging
- clean promotion from note to publishable draft
The project is intentionally narrow. I do not want it to become a broad workspace or document manager.
